GCSE disqualification

I accidentally wore a smartwatch in my physics exam, i completely forgot about it and put my hand up to give it in as soon as i realised about 10 minutes in, im being told its possible i could be disqualified completely and im wondering what the chances actually are?

Did they make you sign anything today? If nothing was signed/statement made they may just give you a warning. Depends if they report it to the exam board

I had to write a statement and they’re sending off a character report

Okay, thats a shame - there is a possibly or they might just deduct marks from you. Hopefully as you handed it in when you noticed you'll just get a warning. Sorry

Surely there would be an audit trail? So that they could see you were inactive for the first 10 minutes + thereafter?
