IGCSE Edexcel English Language A Paper 2 (2024 May/June)

Paper 1 is done!! Game of Polo for 1 and I heard it was Bhutan for 1R, how did it go for y’all? What are your thoughts on the paper 2 poem/prose?

Agreed!!! I was so happy when it was a game of polo bc I did a full past paper on it the night before, I was anticipating Single story though lol

I did alright I think (hopefully) but game of polo wasn't in my top five of the ones i thought it would be so got bit scared, I liked the final question though

edexcel does like to surprise us a lot. think they chose game of polo bc the paper 1 team chooses questions different to 1r. loved the speech q

i have quite a few: still i rise, disabled, out out, bright lights, the necklace, an unknown girl, and possibly night. it’s not in an order btw

I just noticed whistle is the longest text not to come on paper 2 main… lol. Still confident it might be Sarajevo but I’d keep watch

I don’t take R but I’d be looking at Still I Rise, then Disabled, then The Necklace and other texts. Best of luck!

Ehh, only for specimen and 2019 (2R and 2 pick texts separately). I still think Sarajevo though
