How was it for u guys icl mechanics was really good
I think the stats was good. Can someone explain how to do the vectors question? Mass 2kg, force 2i + 4j force ci - 2j and acceleration root 5? I spent all my remaining time on it and got nowhere ☹️ I hate vectors
DId you try applying F=ma to direction i and j seperately?
I tried but didnt get anywhere. The forces down was 2gN and 2N and the force upwards was 4N so the force down was greater than the force upwards. Then horizontally I could get three values of C, c being negative but accelerating to the left, c being negative but accelerating to the right or c being positive and acceleration right. I just dont get it at all ☹️
can you send me the whole question, perhaps I can provide you with the full answer then,
I cant remember the exact wording but it was something like... A object of mass 2kg is moving along a horizontal surface. It is acted on by two forces (2i +4j)N and (ci - 2j)N. The magnitude of the acceleration is root 5. Work out the two possible values of c.

Multiply the 2 to the root 5 cuz f=ma then u set up ur position vectors it was (2) + (c) which is 2i+ci+2j ( 4) + (-2) Then u do the magnitude formula so the square root of (2+c)^2 + (2)^2 =2root 5 get rid of square root by squaring both sides so solving c^2 +4c + 4 + 4 = 20 and then itll be c^2 + 4c - 12 = 0 solving them both you get (c+6)(c-2) therefore c= -6 and c= 2
Sum of forces are (2+c)i+2j apply F=ma |F|=m|a| therefore, sqrt((2+c)^2+2^2)=2*sqrt(5) Can you continue now? PS: you dont need to consider gravity force since its on ground

What did you get for K in the histogram? Also for the hypothesis test did you accept it reject the H0?
K was 128, you had to integrate and you know the area is 112 as freq density times class width is frequency. I DID NOT reject h0, I don't think you can accept as in some mark schemes it says do not allow accept

Did anyone actually know the answer to what wind direction A was? I had been looking through the data set and learning trends, ranges etc but didnt even think I might have been expected to know which wind direction is least likely 😮*💨
What did everyone get for the displacement in car and trailer question ? I got an awfully large number but it made sense at the same time. I got 93.75 m
