General election 2024: what are your reading and listening recommendations?

If you've spent the last 24 hours under a rock, the UK is going to the polls for a general election on 4th July!

The idea of this thread is to share anything interesting you read, listen to or watch that is election related, and you think might be of interest to the community (whether that's the general TSR community or us nerdier folks who tend to inhabit the politics forums).

That could be news articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, TV and radio programmes on iPlayer etc drop your media recommendations below!

Top tip: if the article is paywalled, you can often find an unpaywalled version by searching for it in the Internet Archive! Just paste in the URL (usually you can delete anything after a ? symbol if there's one) and see what the search results say!

A couple to kick off with:

Rob Ford's Swingometer Substack breaks down some of the numbers at this election: https://swingometer.substack.com/p/the-general-election-in-numbers
(It's worth following the Substack if you're itnerested in election polling most posts are more substantial than this!)

Professor Peter Kellner asks the question of whether Sunak can pull off the sort of shift Corbyn did in 2017 (though worth pointing out that was nowhere near enough to win the election): https://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/politics/elections/election-countdown/66386/is-sunak-the-new-corbyn-this-election-will-show-us
Has a handy postcode checker. Tells you who won in your area in the last general election and if there are any changes happening to your constituency.

Anyone think the grade boundaries for this year's exams may now rise based on the fact that they are not set until after all papers are marked and we are likely to have a new government by then who will want to show results are low?

I think you may be overestimating anyone's interest in your A level results.
