Are Oxbridge online courses recognised by unis?

I recently sat my AS exams for my A-level course but I do not plan to continue to the second year because I experience high levels of anxiety in school environments and I suffered from a lot of panic attacks which caused me to have very low attendance. Fortunately, my college was very understanding but I do not want to go back because I know I will face the same issues. in September I want to start a psychology btec because that is what I want to do at uni but there are very few options available. Originally I thought I would enroll in a course with open study college but I saw people saying that the course was not officially recognized as a qualification which is important to me because I am still only 16. I was wondering if this was the case for all online btecs including the Oxbridge level 3 psychology course. Sorry if this is a dumb question I do not really know a lot about home learning

Universities accept two types of qualifications: ones they name in their entry requirements (e.g. A levels, the IB, specific BTECs, an Access to HE Diploma), and ones that earn UCAS points. Some (typically the "better" ones) will only accept qualifications they specifically name.

The "Oxbridge level 3 psychology" qualification to which you refer is not a BTEC. (BTEC is a brand owned by Pearson, so only their qualifications are BTECs.)

I assume you're referring to this qualification, which Oxbridge Ltd say is a "NCFE Custom Qualification". I don't recall ever having seen such a qualification mentioned on a university entry requirements list. Nor can I see it listed on the UCAS Tariff Points Calculator, here. Also, I don't see it listed on Ofqual's Register of Regulated Qualifications, here.

I would therefore encourage you to contact Oxbridge Ltd and ask whether it earns UCAS points. If it does not, then it's difficult to imagine any university accepting it as meeting their entry requirements.
