Moving in to accommodation - Salford University
My accommodation allows students to move in from 2nd of Sept and welcome week starts on 9th Sept. How early should I move in? Is the weekend of the7th too late?

It depends on which accommodation you are moving into. Some of our accommodations have staggered move-in dates, which are sent out to everyone to provide an allotted day/time. This helps avoid it being super busy if everyone moves in on the same day.
If your accommodation doesn't have a staggered move-in schedule, then it's entirely up to you. Personally, I preferred moving in a week before starting at Salford. This gave me time to settle in and meet my new flatmates before Welcome Week began.
