Having a crush on a teacher isn't normal but its definitely not uncommon: both sexes tend to look up to teachers and feelings of adoration and respect lead students to cross the line, as you have done in this case

Regarding you flashing to him, judging by what you have said, he never made any inappropriate moves towards you (correct me if I'm wrong). I therefore think it's safe to assume even if he did notice you flashing to him..he did not overstep his boundaries and behaved the way a teacher should act.

As you are no longer in year 9, I think it's best to move on and learn from this situation. Teachers have a duty of care to all their students, and must not be seen entertaining any actions by students to gain their attention in a negative way.
