No GCSE English, But Passed University-Level 3 English Literature module.

I am in a bit of a dilemma as I do not have a formal GCSE qualification in English. However, I did pass the English Literature module as part of my Media Bachelor's foundation year. When asked about my English qualifications, how should I address this?

Most universities require a pass grade in GCSE Maths and English, especially for people who have recently left school. Contact the university admissions department to see if they would accept your foundation with the English module.

Some jobs (plus degree and post graduate teacing qualufication if you want to be a teacher) and work permits/visas require GCSE English and Maths. Might be worth doing it on the side to future proof yourself but obviously your call.

No GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 is a show stopper for all universities.

I have already obtained my undergraduate degree and am nearing the completion of my master's degree. However, I am facing a challenge in the job market, as many positions require English proficiency.
