Extra/supercurriculars for dietetics

Hi! I'm currently in Year 11 and planning to one day go into dietetics. I was just wondering what supercurriculars I could do to enhance my future uni application? It doesn't have to be done right now, just to do in the next 2ish years.
MOOCs are a really good thing to do, they are short courses that you can do - FutureLearn has a good range. Also reading around the subject would likely be beneficial.

Its a vocational course, and work experience in a caring/medical role will be essential.
Get some relevant work/volunteer experience - in a care-home, special school, hospital etc.

You need shadowing experience to show that you understand the role and public-facing work/volunteering experience to show that you can deal with the general public. Contact your local NHS trust and ask for a day's shadowing experience with a dietician. Watch some 'a day in the life of a dietician' videos on Youtube - particularly the ones created by NHS trusts. You will be interviewed when you apply for a healthcare course and will need to learn the NHS values and 6 Cs of care.
