What are the letters next to history in the AQA grade boundaries GCSE

I mean I know it is what your choices are but how are you meant to know which one is which. For example I just mean where it says history BC. For paper 1, section A was choice D and section B was choice C. For paper 2, section A was choice A and section B was choice C.

if you look on the spec, it tells you which letters your course are!:

sorry i meant to say gcse. Also on the grade boundaries there are only two letter but we have 4 choices so thats where im confused. ty for help
