Just want to know are you guys renting a storage unit with your friends for your stuffs or store by box.

Renting a van could work! but only as long as one of you is able to drive the van and all of you are living together next year as youll have to get a van to bring the stuff back 😀 also i'd check to see whether hiring a van & renting a storage unit is cheaper than just paying by the box

Haha yeah lol that was me! I ordered some boxes from them but also used my own suitcase to store some stuff 😀

I'd say it depends how far away you live from university and if you can easily get all your things home over summer. Otherwise getting a storage unit with friends over summer could be a much easier option.

Yeah, I've used them before in 2nd year and they were really good 😄 the people who picked up my stuff were nice, and the same people re-delivered my stuff in October. Nothing was broken and everything came back fine 😃

I personally prefer renting a full storage unit rather than dealing with separate boxes. If you’re a student in London, you can go with Hold Self Storage, they’re close to King’s Cross and have great offers for the first few weeks. I’ve been keeping my things there for almost a year now and it’s really been a hassle-free solution: easy access, secure building, and the team is always quick to help if you need anything.
