Why is my sibling getting less maintenance loan than me

So I got my student finance confirmation letter and it says I get 7.7k student finance paid to me (and the normal 9250 paid to uni) but my sibling is getting 6k around there, she’s in her second year

If your sibling is currently in her second year and the student finance award is for next year, will that be her final year? If yes, then students receive less for the last year of a course as funding ends when the course ends and you don't receive an allowance for the summer holidays.

No she’s on a 4 year course
