Offer change?

Hi all, I received a conditional offer so I firmed it and applied for accom. I had to email accom to ask something and was told according to their records I have an unconditional and firm offer. I havent received an updated offer, nor was I told about an unconditional offer if firmed. There hasn’t been any update to ucas or confirmation email. Is this something unis do and I just have to wait it out until the confirmation? Or is it likely just a mistake? For context I haven’t sat my exams yet. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks!
