Newcastle Uni Accomodation - Choices

I’ve seen that Park View is very popular and top 3 choices are Marris House, Manor Bank, Windsor Terrace.
Is there anyone that has applied for these? If so what course are you doing?
Also if any current students have any pros to these accommodations, it would be much appreciated.

They just released park view today! I managed to get a room, so stressful. Wouldn't be surprised if they are all already gone, they get booked so quickly. But at least they are releasing them!

Just got Park View, the advanced booking comes out every Monday at about 12 and it's a random bunch of rooms, so wouldn't go about checking it all week should just be at that time.

I'm really stressed because i haven't been able to book accomadation yet and i've heard the advanced booking stops soon, I've been wanting park view or kensington terrace

I submitted those two for my application I’m too indecisive to just pick one for advanced booking 😭

You should be ok as you have until the 30th June, so I would keep trying advanced booking until the final release of rooms (week of the 24th) and if none of the rooms are ones you want then select preferences. I was able to book park view last week so there is still time!!

What time and day did you book it if you can remember? There never seems to be park view when I look😭

When i managed to book park view the halls were released alphabetically, except for park view. They appeared roughly every 5 minutes and park view was added at the very end, so the whole process took over an hour of refreshing.

Guys, what are you thinking out of Park View and Park terrace, I think Park terrace has bigger rooms and is closer to my building, but then im so indecisive lol, anyone have any thoughts on them ??

I haven’t seen park view appear yet but I’ve been trying all day today because it’s the last day for advanced booking🥲they were meant to upload them at 2 but the portal’s still closed :frown:

Samee I've been there waiting since this morning 😭 and then it said my access was denied at 2 and now they've released all the rooms i'm so annoyed

Oml I’ve just looked and they’ve uploaded them but there’s no park view left😭when did the portal open do you know??
