Big 4 exit opportunities from Tax

Hi all, just wanted to get a feel for the most common exit pathways people have taken from tax at a big 4 firm? If anyone had any experience they can share that would be great!

not me personally but my dad was at the big 4 after graduating in computer science and he started advising private clients on tax affairs, got promoted to a manager and managed a team, and then met a high net worth client and now works comfortably for him advising him on his personal tax affairs with regards to his companies. i have an offer with one of the big 4 and there is a lot of room to specialise but also to be a “generalist”. depending on what big 4, if you end up doing the icaew qualification you get aca and cta which is chartered accountant and tax advisor which gives a lot more opportunity to choose. hope this helps
