Physiotherapy BSc timetable at Plymouth Uni

Hello,I'm a mature student starting at Plymouth in September. Am hoping to work a bit alongside study and wondering if any current students can give me an idea of the first year timetable... Will we have some days/afternoons off? Hoping to plan some work in advance before September so would be really useful to know. Thanks

Hi there! 😊

I study a different course so can't necessarily give you an idea of a typical physiotherapy timetable but for my course, my timetable is very varied every week, with some days having no lectures, to some with 4 or 5 sessions. This typically changes every week and it's important to remember that even when there are gaps in your timetable that you should try to designate this time to independent study/coursework etc. which is expected outside of timetabled sessions.

I often recommend trying to stick to a '9-6' working day and fitting work on the weekends/evenings where possible but as the university timetable is varied for most people, this can often be flexible which is handy!

Usually timetables aren't released until nearer the course start date but for more insight into a typical physiotherapy timetable, I'd recommend reaching out to [email protected] or asking one of our Unibuddy ambassadors (I don't think we have a representative for physiotherapy but other health professions students may be able to give you insight into similar course area timetables). Alternatively, hopefully someone may reply with their insights on here!

Best of luck for the course! 😄
