halfway through a levels, i don’t think i could get the grades for my firm choice

for context - I need ABB to get to manchester

it is now half way through my a levels and i feel like i would most likely end up with ABC instead.

Newcastle - abc
loughborough - abc

I am so desperate to go to manchester but at this point i feel like my chances are slim.
i was gonna firm manchester and insurance newcastle pre exam,
but now i might have to change to firm newcastle and insurance lboro.

so at this point, if u were me, should I still carry on firming manchester or change to lboro instead?

Many universities accept a drop of 1 or 2 grades on results day. I dont know if Manchester do so it might be worth asking or taking a gamble anyway. Only you can answer what is right for you though.
Did Manchester explain what happens for your course if you miss your conditions at their offer holder day?
If they didn’t or you didn’t attend then ring them on Tuesday and ask them.

Hey just be confident in yourself and don't self doubt! I ended up getting ABB in my exams and UoM accepted me, so I'm now studying in Manchester. My course is planning and real estate for context

I was the same, in 2019 I got a AAA offer from Manchester and my predicted grades were ABB so I firmed it anyway, on results day I got ABC and was turned down from Manchester and Birmingham, then Manchester emailed me and offered me a place on foundation year, two weeks later they offered me a place on the degree course instead. I would say if Manchester is where you really want to be, put it as your firm choice 100% you never know what might happen )))
