Will doing an EPQ be beneficial for dentistry application?

I am deciding whether to do an EPQ or not. I’m not sure whether it is actually worth spending a lot of time on it. I was wondering if doing an EPQ actually help stands out from other students who don’t do EPQ in a dentistry application. Does it actually increases the likehood of getting into dentistry or nothing special at all if you get enough extra curricular activities and work experience to talk about. Thanks

Hello, absolutely.
The point of the EPQ is to show your skills in research and also the information and terminologies that you currently know about dentistry, I believe it will take your knowledge to the next level which will stand out when you apply for anything relating to dentistry. Doing an EPQ means doing your own research and understanding analysis and also will show to universities or dentistry schools that you are capable and understand the knowledge that some others may not have. It is a wonderful idea.
