radiography books !!

looking for good books on / including radiography, as I'm hoping to pursue it in university next year and want to do some wider reading. thank you !!

You don't need wider reading to apply for a DR degree. What you do need is shadowing experience to show that you know what the job involves so start contacting your local hospitals to ask for a day in the radiography department. Also search for 'a day in the life of a DR' videos on Youtube that are produced by many NHS trusts.

You will also need public-facing work/volunteering experience to show that you can deal with the general public so look for opportunities in care homes, charity shops, the service sector. etc.

thank you ! I'm working on getting some experience shadowing a radiographer, but for now is there anything else i can do to heighten my personal statement?

When talking about your work/volunteering experience, try to relate it the NHS values and 6 Cs of care:
