For bii) Id take moments about B and note the wall reaction is equal to the horizontal reaction at B. The 0.75 is a pretty strong hint.

But what about the friction between the body and the surface it’s not been included in the MS

9bii) is about the rod being in equilibrium, so you only consider the forces acting on the rod
9biii) is about the composite body being in equilibrium so not sliding and not toppling so you only consider the forces acting on the composite body. You use 9bii) answers (newton 3).
