There was an 8 marker on primary and secondary data for Q10 I think. Lots about qualitative and quantitative for Q9. Don’t remember the rest

It went so bad I saved all the 8 markers till the end cause I’m normally really good with time but I had like 10 minutes to do the 4 8 markers 😭😭 and for the coastal fieldwork I answered the 8 marker in the river section by accident so its not even gonna be marked it’s so bad

Please don't worry - I'd also just like to remind you that you were still able to complete the second 8 marker, which means you answered the question you get 4 extra marks for SPaG for. There's still paper 3 to do, and I'm sure that if you are generally quite good with time/8 markers, you're probably doing the typical post-exam routine: zoom in on mistakes so much so that it feels like you made a million of them. If you think it might help (because it certainly does for me), perhaps write down a bullet point list of the questions you are now worrying about. I'm sure you'll see that there are actually a whole load less than what it feels like in your head. Please don't be hard on yourself, you're just a person and can only do so much x

i feel like crying , the uk physical and human geography were easy to do but could not remember my field works for the life of me so lost much marks and i want to get an 8 as well . i don't know what to do

The 8 Marker for Q9 was "Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the enquiry question and the plan" with the table above being the students plan, Q10 was "Assess the role of primary and secondary data to come to your conclusions".. overall quite decent 8 markers!

hi, what did people put for the 8 markers? also the precipitaton question was kinda odd
for the 8 marker w the map and showing temp increase i just said it increases friction in the river and waffled but that was horrid 8 marker

Yeah, same here. I'm so devastated - I left all 8 markers until last and didn't have time for either of the fieldwork ones. I'm so disappointed. I'd like to do geo next year, hopefully papers 1 and 3 will save my grade 9 :frown:

the issue is that paper 3 is only worth 25% of the grade, unlike the other two

Guys Im literally so sad, I've gotten straight 8's in geography for a while now but I don't think I can get it after that paper, where did all the time go?? Like I knew what to say but I just wasn't able to get it down on paper in time. The feeling of looking at the clock and realising I had 10 minutes left for fieldwork.. man. Edexel is so unrealistic in terms of their expectations, paper 1 is understandable for 1hr 30 however paper two requires a whole new different set of skills focusing on A03 and A04 in the 8-markers, where you have to instantly attempt to understand an analytical source in just a very short amount of time. I would say hopefully I can redeem myself next week, but paper 3 is no where near worth of marks in paper 1 & 2.

i feel you, ran out of time only was able to answer 2 questions which total of 4 marks for field work , but was giving me sanity is the grade boundaries since 181 - 2019 so they may go back to that , so i need to get 58 out 64 ( i think ,who knows) in paper and get 183 so you can to , i just hope paper 3 is alright so i can get an 8 as well

I hope so, sounds dramatic but its really ruined my mood now for the rest of exams. Kinda sucks. Good luck, lets get that 8.

I talked abt the river drying up or smth and then like fish getting affected as well as a lack of water supply therefore ppl have to get their water source from the sea which is more expensive but idk I waffled😭😭
