Right, this sounds confusing.

Personally, if I couldn't meet the English Language requirements, I would sit out for a year and sit GCSE English Language and then apply for the MOptom course instead of sitting the foundation year. For one, it's a lot cheaper; two, it might be quicker depending on where you do it.

Huddersfield doesn't offer a foundation year for MOptom per se, but it does offer the Science Extended Degree course, which is effectively a foundation year: https://courses.hud.ac.uk/full-time/undergraduate/science-extended-degree-leading-to-a-bsc-hons-degree/
From this webpage, you would see the following:
"Progression onto Optometry and Pharmacy is dependent on meeting stringent performance levels in the Science Extended Degree. You must pass all modules with an overall pass mark of at least 70 per cent. Plus at least 70 per cent in the Chemistry module and 70 per cent in the Maths and Physics module. You may also undertake an interview with the Optometry or Pharmacy admissions staff."
So yes, you can go onto the MOptom course through the foundation year, but you would need to be near perfect in order to get onto the degree. Personally, I would find doing the GCSE an easier alternative.

If you are not completely sure about the above, you could always contact undergrad admissions to check. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a contact page specifically for the health and social care department, so you will have to contact general admissions and wait for your message to finally reach the right department. Now uni offer me to take password test for direct admission into optom year 1. If I didn't meet the requirements after this test then I am going to take admission in foundation year. Are you also applying ...?

No actually I already done my A levels and my grades meet the requirements for Moptom program but my eng language criteria does not meet the requiements. So that if I don't pass password test then I have to study foundation year program means science excluded degree.
