Placement year accommodation in London

I'm starting a placement year in central London, any advice on where to look for accommodation? I'm not at a London uni (Cardiff) so don't think student accommodation would work.

Hi there,

Have you contacted your course mates, to see if anyone also has a placement in London? It may be helpful to share accommodation with other people in your course who are taking placement year.

There are a few websites to get started on searching for places to live, such as SpareRoom or UniHomes. Definitely consider commute costs. The further out from central, the more affordable accomodation would be, but you'd also have to consider commuting time and costs.
