King's College London vs Bristol

I have received offers for Political Economy at Kings, and Economics and Politics at Bristol. I am really struggling to decide between the two. I am not sure what career I want to pursue in the future, but I would like a degree that keeps many options open. I love London, but I know that it is expensive and I am worried I will have less of a student life there. I also love Bristol but I know that career opportunities etc are less easily accessible compared to London. I would also like my degree to be equally split between economics and politics with a decent amount of maths, and I am unsure whether the course at Kings is but I feel like I would be throwing an opportunity away by not going there. If anyone has any insight or has made a similar decision in the past, please reply!!!

To me, I would say Bristol based on some of the factors that you mentioned such as cost of living and academics. London is really expensive and the student life can be hit or miss depending on the friendship circle that you make.

hey, I study ppe at kings, which is similar to political economy and im from Bristol so I think I can give you a good oversight - kings is a really good uni, I share a few modules with the political economy students and they're enjoyable. student life is good in London, its definitely different to other cities but I really enjoy it. you also get to be in central London, which is super fun and there's so many opportunities here especially in terms of the degree you've chosen. Bristol is also an amazing city, definitely more typical uni experience here, it's a super cool city but I don't have much insight into the teaching structure. as a place to live, its really nice and is cheaper than London, so if cost is a big thing for you then take that into account. that being said, Bristol isn't exactly the cheapest city either. If you can afford it, personally id say go for kings, its an amazing uni that opens up a lot of opportunities, its in a wonderful city where theres so much to do and I don't think you'd regret it : )
