BSc business and management

hi,
I have offers from Bayes(Cass), Bristol and Cardiff for business and management and am unsure on which to choose. Bristol is the biggest name for me but Bayes is always top in rankings

hey,
don't focus on big names because in reality they may prove otherwise, try to go to their open days and visit each university. this is better because you will have first hand experience of how the experience would be.

Hi, the above comment said a great point! I would also say whilst reputation can be important for employability, there are a lot of other factors when considering a university to choose, such as cost of living, location, social life, travel, etc.

In terms of employability, you'd find that reputation is only one part of the puzzle for finding a successful job. There are many elements to it, such as a good academic standing, gaining further experience, quality of CVs etc. Cardiff for example, has a really good careers and employability service and this shows from statistics such as those from Discover Uni.

Overall there are loads of things to consider, and its worth drawing up the pros and cons of each university. Whatever you choose, hope you come to a decision you're happy with!

Hello, there are so many factors to look into before making the final decision. Cardiff is one of the most affordable university since it is located in the small town of Cardiff, unlike Bristol and Bayes. In terms of affordability, Cardiff leads followed by Bristol and then Bayes, which is located in London. Again, in terms of industrial exposure and experience, Bayes offers the highest opportunities due to its geological location, which exposes students to excellent networking opportunities, internships, and job placements. Therefore, If you aim for a career in finance or consulting, Bayes might be the best option due to its industry ties and London location. For a more general business education with a strong reputation, Bristol is an excellent choice. Cardiff offers a more affordable education with a solid reputation. Bristol is also good with remarkable employability rates and it is not as expensive as Bayes.
