Pregnancy and SFE funding 60 days

So I’m currently pregnant, I’m in my second year of nursing degree and due in December. I’m yet to decide when I will stop my studies to take a year out, so if option one; I don’t go back in September but enrol to then continue the following September...would I be entitled to 60 days extended funding from September?
I’m due to go straight out on placement so I’m not sure whether it’s best to not go back for the placement and defer from sept, or do partial placement..unfortunately the funding side does come into my decision!

Appreciate any help or advice from anyone interrupting studies for maternity!

I've moved your thread to the Ask SFE forum so that you will get a reply from an official SFE/SLC rep.

Hi there, if you don't go back this September then you wouldn't be entitled to the 60 extra days of funding. As you've not enrolled. If you've made an application you can cancel this via your account and then wait and reapply for 25/26 (the following year), if that's when you're expected to return. Thanks, Jason
