my year 10 gyg journey ⭐️
Hi!! I know I’m so so late but I only discovered the whole gyg community just recently so bare with me 🥲
I decided to start this prior to mocks to help keep myself accountable ✨

A little context: I go to a grammar school so there is quite a bit of competition.My grades aren’t based on like formal assessments, most of the time we have these “surprise” quizzes, especially in science. Only English , maths and a few other subjects have had formal assessments.

My current grades (from my winter report):
Maths:8, predicted 9
English literature: 6, predicted 7
English language: 9
Physics: 9
Chemistry: 9
Biology : 9
Geography: 7, predicted 8 (got a 9 in my most recent test though!!)
Spanish : 7, predicted 8
Business: 7 , predicted 8 ( got a 9 in my most recent test as well)
Textiles: 7 , predicted 8

My goals: I am aiming for all 9s and 8s and I do think it’s doable if I put my mind to it . I really want a 9 in maths especially as I do struggle with it at times
I also took my Arabic GCSE this year (I’m so happy it’s over!!) so that’s why my revision has started a bit late. I would’ve started a bit earlier but oh well the times already passed 💔💔

My plans : Planing on covering all of the content for the sciences as I do already know most of it (- physics though I have to reteach myself everything 😭). I’m also planning on finishing 3/4 of my revision for everything else because I’ve already made flash cards. Just think I can do it if I js revise everyday. The grind is real !! 🤞

im catchin up science first
and i have to prepare my spoken language speech this year
Hey guys ✨ This is my plan for the half term . My mocks start on the 17th ( I forgot to include that lol)
⭐️do one topic of each science everyday so I’ll be done by the end of half term
⭐️ doing maths everyday because I desperately need that 9 (I’m planing on doing maths a-levels)
⭐️ learning one topic of my Spanish speaking questions everyday
⭐️ for business, textiles and geography I already have revision resources and I have been revising as I go along so there is not much work to be done there
After half term I just want to focus on doing past papers, questions etc. I am doing some practice questions as I go along but rn I just need to learn the content and there is a lot 😬
