right to work ID

I am in the most horrific circumstance - I have sent my birth certificate off to DVLA for my provisional as I don't own a passport and needed ID, but I have a job interview on Thursday and currently one of my only right to work documents is probably just sitting on someones desk waiting to be processed. I have a PASS ID, my uni ID (but I know this does absolutely nothing) a DBS Check and a P45, and I was wondering if my PASS ID, as it is held to the same idenity standards as a liscence and says on the website it can be used when starting a job, would be considered enough for Right to Work ID? I would appreciate quick responses, as I am quite stressed as I very much need this job.

Your National Insurance number is a right to work, that should be OK for them. Explain the situation and with your NI number, you should be fine until your passport comes through.

They usually return the documents quite quickly, before your passport, so you never know, it may come through in time.

You should ask this company what right to work documents they require and that you are expecting your provisional licence and birth certificate in the near future.

Don't panic?

Proof of work status and ID is usually passport, DL and birth certificate.

Proof of address is usually DL, recent bank statement, utility bill, council tax statement.

Proof of NINO is p45, p60.

You employer may be fine holding off the check if you don't have them right now - just may delay the start date.
