Hi, don’t fret too much, I suffer from this issue sometimes as well.

Make sure your targets are SMART (Specific, Manageable, Acheivable, Realistic and Timed). Don’t set yourself too vague targets. And don’t do every question in the textbook if you know a few are repetitive or too easy.

One of the problems I find I struggle with is allocating myself too much tasks in a day. For example printing out many past papers and hoping I can do them all in one day. I would recommend doing the past papers under timed exam conditions, or perhaps splitting the workload half one day, half the next day.

Thanks I set myself too many tasks too but that’s because I am in exam season now so need to get as much done as possible

Hey there! It sounds like you're dealing with a bit of task-switching overload, which can definitely make it tough to complete anything on your to-do list. A good strategy to combat this is to prioritize your tasks.

Keep at it, and you'll start ticking off those tasks in no time!

Hi @Smart282,

A helpful tip would be try to simplify your tasks and minimise your task list. Have a maximum of three items at a time and only add more to it when you've completed the three items. Sometimes when you have a long list, it can overwhelm us and demotivate us to start the task at hand. Celebrating small milestones is so important to avoid burnout, you can perhaps treat yourself to a snack or something when you've completed a task or two to motivate you to keep going!

Hope this helps,

Don't pressure yourself too much! Try starting small with one or two goals first and when you complete those move on to another set of to do's. I would I would also recommend getting a tutor if you're really struggling since they will definitely make sure you complete all your tasks (I found my tutor on The Profs if you want to check them out). https://www.theprofs.co.uk/subjects/?_gl=1*1jqot49*_up*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQiA5fetBhC9ARIsAP1UMgHZIuBqGzShz9fhNBLmgo6x-IGbmOIRbsJIRbx4a712BN64hJl8LDgaAqYJEALw_wcB
