Politics at KCL or Law at Uni of Sheffield

I am struggling between two of my current choices. Law is the more prestigious degree however KCL is generally a more prestigious uni and living in London sounds like a good experience. I am not sure if I want to be a lawyer in the long term, I enjoy essay writing and debating issues however I am worried it may become dry and more about learning about the rules themselves as opposed to questioning them. I don't know much about politics but I do have aspirations to be in a position in the future where I can impact my environment in a positive way then again, that may not equate to reality. I am very conflicted, any advice would be useful, thank you.
