Worked more than 20 hrs/week for 3-4 weeks in UK.

Hi.
I was told by my employer that working hours are calculated on the basis of 52 weeks. So 1040 hours should not be exceeded during your course. My mistake was I took his word and started working. I worked 40 hours for 2-3 weeks with some weeks gap in between. And now while I researched it myself which I should have done it in the first place, I got to know that it is the breach of conditions in my student visa.
So what steps should I take so that my PSW visa won’t get rejected in the future. I still have 8 months till my student visa expires.
