French as Fourth A level

I’m currently in year 12 and do bio, chem, maths and French. I want to do smth biochem/pharmacy related at uni and was wondering how much use is a French a level really? I’ve been told 4 a levels can be a useful tie break because they show a level of organisation. Is this true? I really enjoy all my a levels and am quite strong in all of them.

I am only in my final year of GCSEs however I have heard that If you want to do a placement year in France it is sometimes required. If you want to work in France I am not sure whether they accept A level french (they however accept DELF B2). That being said, if you don’t want to go to France, I would not put unnecessary pressure on yourself (I have heard most unis only want 3 a levels and if you were to take 4 a levels usually it’s because you have taken further maths).
