I Need some help understanding what exactly I’ve studied.

I finished the first part (1 year) of a Level 2 business diploma about a year ago when realised that I didn’t want todo it anymore, and to instead start working straight away, so I left and joined a fast paced brokerage (which btw I much prefer) and didn’t complete the next parts of the course that would’ve led me on to higher education. My question is this however, what does that 1 year actually equate to in terms of grades? It said it I was awarded 39 credits at level 2. I’m 115% confident it was GCSEs (3-4 of them apparently?) but then what’s with the 39 credits being awarded. I’m so confused, this is far too complicated, I’m going to bed. What does 39 credits at level 2 mean? I searched it up, nothing comes up. Please someone let me know what this means your amazing thanks . Oh and don’t be afraid to say “wow you got terrible grades sorry to break it to you.” don’t sugar coat anything if you do know what 39 credits at level 2 is let me know. I’m working in Real Estate now and its got nothing to do with what i studied, I decided to listen to my parents and do a college course before I start working, forget that I want to make money now but I need to at-least know what it’s value was thankyou so much.

BTW I’m not saying education is bad and too leave, I’m just not smart enough or patient enough to go on any further, what can I say I’m a people person and RE just suits who i am, that being said I have incredible respect for people who go university your the best and way smarter than me your gonna be amazing doctors and surgeons saving peoples lives.

The fact that this is a Level 2 qualification tells you that it's equivalent to one or more GCSEs at grade 4 or above. (GCSEs at grades 3 or below are Level 1.) [source]

To estimate how many GCSEs it's equivalent to, we need to know the "total qualification time" (TQT). This is a measure of how long it would take a typical student to be taught / learn the content. Words within a qualification title like "award", "certificate" and "diploma" are standardised, with the word "diploma" meaning "a qualification with a TQT value of 370 or more". The "or more" isn't terribly helpful. [source]

A GCSE has a TQT of 120, so the full diploma is worth at least 3 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. To know more, including what 39 credits means (it likely means 390 hours, in TQT terms), we need to be more precise about exactly what this qualification is. Do you know who the awarding body is? Or the full name of the qualification?
