I am slow reader gcse english p2🥺

I am a slow reader, and I am retaking english language
I think I messed up paper 1, but I can't stop there,
worried yes
Shared yes
Wanna cry, yes
Wanna die, yes... mabe not but ok
It feels like I waisted my life on this year of retake 😭😭😭. I don't know what to do if I fail the retake my life will be rowined.

Next Thursday is my paper 2 english gcse

Any tips on how to improve myself or find any other ways to read the sources?
Please help!

Hi there,
I don't know how useful this will be but I suggest doing the paper like this:
-read the specified lines in question 1
-answer question 1
-read question 3
-read from where question 1 ended, to where question 3 ends, but bear in mind where question 3 starts too
-answer question 3
-read to the end of that source
-read source b
-answer question 2
-read question 4
-skim through sources a and b and highlight/underline what things you're going to include
-do question 5

alternatively, a lot of people start with question 5, and you can do question 4 before question 2 as it's worth more marks, if you're going to do 4 before 2, read question 4 before you start reading source b and, like I said, underline/highlight the key things

ultimately, it's down to you, try a couple past papers in timed conditions doing questions in different orders to see which one you find the best order to do :smile:
