If I have completed and assignment which was for 20 credits and I passed the mark does that mean them 20 credits are added to my UCAS points??

No, for two reasons:

1. Credits and UCAS points are not the same thing - there is not a 1-to-1 relationship between the two.
2. Your earn UCAS points for qualifications - not assignments. Assignments and exams contribute to qualifications, but only when you gain a qualification (typically at the end of the course, although sometimes half-way through too), do you earn any UCAS points.

What qualification does this assignment form a part of?

So basically I have 120 UCAS points from my diploma and I want to transfer to a different uni, I’m in my first yeah now and I was curious as to if I did not have the required amount of UCAS points could I do like a credit transfer? Thank you for your reply

Only level 3 qualifications (A levels, BTEC Nationals, International Baccalaureate, Access to HE Diploma, etc. - essentially qualifications you would do in sixth form or at college) earn UCAS points. Assignments carried out whilst at uni do not.

Do you know to which university you wish to transfer? They likely have a web page which outlines whether or not they accept transfers, and if so what the criteria are. It's very likely that that will require that your level 3 qualifications (see above) meet their first year entry requirements, even if you're trying to transfer into second year.

I’ve spoken to Liverpool Hope university where I wish to transfer to and they told me to fill out an APL form, I’ll read through the policy later and check entry requirements, I think I have enough points but I will double check. Thank you ✌️
