1st year Med Student Acco - Request a recommendation

Planning to join the 1st year at the Med School

If Park View or Park Terrace are not going to be available as it is usually oversubscribed are Wellington St Plaza, Verde, or The View good choices?

(all those three are near to each other and also close to city center but a good walk away from the Med school)

Any one who lived at these buildings share their experience.

Firstly congratulations on your offer from Newcastle University! Good luck with your exams.

You are right that Park View is our most popular accommodation but there's always a chance you will get a place there if you put it down in your options or you spot a room through the reservation application.

Wellington St Plaza, The View and Verde are all very similar to Park View, the main difference being the price and location. All of the ones you have listed are modern accommodation with en-suite rooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom. Take a look at the virtual tours and pictures on the Accommodation Website.

Don't worry too much about distance, all of our accommodation is within a 20min walk from the Medical School, if you chose Wellington St, Verde or The View you would have the added benefit of being close to the city centre than if you were in Park View.
