Advice on Apprenticeship Interview pls

I have an interview on FRIDAY for a Project Management Degree Apprenticeship.

Does anyone have any advice on interviews in general or this specifically, or any good resources to check out ?!

I am currently just learning a few of the current projects what else is important for general interviews.

THANKYOU

think about all of the things you've done in the last couple years that you could mention and link them to skills (e.g. having a part time job could be responsibility etc)
think about why you chose to do an apprenticeship in project management
think about why you chose the company (do research on them)
think about why you chose that companies apprenticeship scheme

try and present yourself as confident during the interview and eager to get the apprenticeship

Hi,

Let me just list off a bunch of tips for you for your interview.

Doing research of the company is definitely a really good thing to do. Look into the projects and also the company values.

Think of answers to the common questions such as what are your strengths? why do you want to work for this company? what do you expect to be doing in this degree apprenticeship? why do you want to do a degree apprenticeship?

Make a list of scenarios in your life which will help you to answer "tell me about a time" questions. You might have heard of the STAR technique and it is really important that you learn how to answer questions in this way - Situation, Task, Action and Result. Try and get an example for each of these questions:

Tell me about a time when you worked as a team

Tell me about a time when you worked really hard on something

Tell me about a time when you had to have a difficult conversation

Tell me about a time when you came up with a creative solution

Tell me about a time when you had to follow a procedure

Tell me about a time when you worked above and beyond for a customer

me about a time when you learned from a mistake

Tell me about a time when you led a project

Dress smart - overdressing is better than underdressing.

If it's online, look into the webcam the whole time. If it's in person, make eye contact with the interviewer and remember to shake their hand at the start and end.

Have some good questions to ask the interviewer at the end to show you are a serious candidate.

Hope that helps. You also asked for any resources so this link might be useful, covers everything you need to know about apprenticeship interviews - https://youtu.be/hIy5eBbYIVk.

Good luck in your interview. Let us know how it goes
