forgot to put candidate information on gcse paper

I'm not sure if I have, but I almost forgot to put ALL my candidate information on my english language gcse paper but thankfully I noticed it, so now I'm worried that I might have done the same to my other papers and not put any of my candidate information down since I'm so stressed before the exam

I know that aqa does an investigation on all papers that are missing candidate information but I'm not sure if edexcel does the same. What would happen if they got a paper with missing information? And has this happened to anyone else before? 😭

Don't worry, the school always checks for any missing details on the exam papers, and so do the invigilators. They have all your details, including your name and candidate number. So, don't stress if you missed it—they probably filled it out for you. Even then, Edexcel has procedures for situations like this. It may mean that the marking might take a while, but it will be marked for sure. If you're really stressed out, tell the exam officer or a teacher for advice and they can conform it for you

At the end of the exam, the invigilators check that the front page of each exam booklet is complete and accurate, and add/correct information as necessary. You'd be surprised how often students forget this stuff! There's no need to worry.
