Potential prom dress

So, ultimately i decieded I wasn't going to prom due to all the unnecessary hassel. I started contemplating whether i should and all my friends were going so i decided i might as well.
I've looked online and i don't rlly want to spend loads of money on something im going to wear once. Im about 5ft 6 so im unsure whether a long dress is better than a mid length for me.
While searching on asos i found this navy blue and i just wanted your opinions as im really unsure. Thanks 😊

i’m in the same position as you i didn’t think i’d go to prom but here i am, ordered a dress online a couple days ago literally searched up “last minute prom dresses” to find it😭 i think the length of the blue dress is nice it’s just the top half n print aren’t really my style but if it’s something you like then go for it!! and don’t stress over the dress too much, it’s just one night you’ll have fun either way <3

Good luck! I didnt get the dress cuz i was also skeptical. I had a revelation lolll so im gonna wear a jumpsuit! I think it looks nice! Its a mauve pink with balloon arms and im peering it with silver heels and a silver purse! I hope u find something!

it isn’t letting me upload images for some reason but it was this navy blue dress with sequins all over from everpretty, it was nowhere near as big or fancy as the dresses most girls had on but it looked nice🙏 prom was a week ago and it was funnn, and good luck to u too!!
