Biology PGCE with a Psychology BSc
Hi, I’m graduating my BSc in Psychology next year and I wanted to apply for a PGCE. I am quite torn between doing a Biology PGCE or a Psychology PGCE. I know there are more job opportunities as a Biology teacher as it’s a core subject and I really enjoy Biological Sciences. I wanted to know if I can even apply for a Biology PGCE with my Psychology degree since I have a lot of Biology and Biological Sciences in my Psychology degree. I also did Biology, Chemistry and Physics for A-level to get into my Psychology degree. I was willing to do a SKE in case my knowledge to teach Biology is not enough, but the UK does not do one for Biology. So my question is if I am able to get into a Biology PGCE with my Psychology BSc.
