A Levels or Access to Higher Ed?

I’m 18 and just finished my O-levels (I have a very adventurous life, school just doesn’t fit in) but I really do want to be complete my education and be a university graduate at least. I’m currently living aboard (I’m from the UK) and want to do A Levels, but I’m told that doing an Access to Higher course (which is only a year long) will get me into a university faster. I researched it a bit and it says it for 19+ students? It also costs a lot, but I’ve also been told that under 19 year olds in the UK can do it for free? Could someone please explain it clearly to me because at this point I’m unsure of my options.

Hi there. We don't deal with any courses under a level 4 on here. Access to higher education courses would normally fall under Advance Learner Loan. You can find more about this here: https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan

Their number is 0300 100 0619 and their opening hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm and Saturday 9-4pm.

Thanks, Leah.
