Student finance entitlement

Hi I applied for student finance a few months ago for the first time and had the application processed and everything. My mum got an email 2 days ago about martial status and we filled out the form and sent the evidence declaring her divorced status. Today I checked my sfe account and it shows the payments and is on the confirming details part for the flow chart but it only shows my entitlement for the basic maintenance despite me being entitled to the maximum maintenance as my coordinator and the sfe calculator both say that i am entitled to the maximum. I was wondering whether it would be updated once the evidence has been processed or if i am not entitled to the maximum. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Yes, that's right - once your Mum's evidence is processed and accepted we'll award you the correct Maintenance Loan.

We're currently processing this kind of evidence in 16 working days, so please check your account and e-mails for any updates.

Thanks, Graeme

Hi Graeme I still have not heard anything back from sfe via email and my account still says im only in receipt of the minimum as per the email I received when I had to submit the evidence required. I was wondering whether the evidence has been processed or if I am not entitled to the maximum?

Hi there,

It is taking approximately 23 working days to process this evidence from the date we receive it. If it was only sent a few weeks ago it will not be processed yet.

Thanks, Drew
