Thats such a good paper I'm really jealous tbh.

They were so nice last year on philosophy and ethics. But the grade boundaries were really high compared to other years.

Oh okay. I mean I would love any other theme than theme 4 but, Eduqas may feel a bit creative re-testing it.
What theme do you think will come up?

I think it’s most likely to be Theme 3 (possibly Fletcher six fundamental principles/application to homosexuality or applying utilitarianism to nuclear deterrence), but I think it’s also likely to be theme 2 again because this has only come up as section A once (last year). Overall I think it’s most likely to be 3

It was Theme 1 for Christianity, Theme 2 for Philosophy, it better be Theme 3 for Ethics but knowing WJEC, watch them make it Theme 4 all of a sudden.

i have a sinking feeling it might be theme 4......i hate eduqas, but im hoping they pull reverse psychology and go against our prediction and just be nice for ONCE

rightt?? im rlly hoping to see DCT, Aquinas natural law with reference to precepts and situation ethics with agape there. i have no time to revise EVERYTHING so im literally sat her making predictions of what might come up...

but my teacher said anything that came last year DONT revise cos theres like low chance it would come up again

gang help I'm unsure as to what themes I should be hyper-focusing on rn ☹️

yeah but then poe came up last year it came up again this year, i think yes prioritise maybe a day before but try to cover all the content bc you just never know, and u may not like how the q you revised is worded in the exam

So ranking likelihood of each theme it seems to be : theme 3 most likely (only came up once and was in a covid year as well only making it more probable), then theme 2, 4 and 1 least likely

if it comes up again that would be so brutal from eduqas, i think just in case go over it lightly like tmrw night but theres a rlly low chance theyll ask us

What are your predictions for this exam

i managed to predict 4/5 of the topics for the philosophy paper but DO NOT take my word for everything i say now bcus u never know!!
i predict the following:

divine command theory (high chances only came in 2019)

concepts of free will with reference to pelagius (hasnt come up yet)

concepts of libertarianism (came up once 2018) OR concepts of predestination

natural law with reference to laws and precepts

rule utilitarianism (theres a pattern for this coming but may not)

THESE ARE MY MAIN PREDICTIONS, however go over as much as possible bcus u NEVER KNOW (esp with eduqas)
