I think I wrote mostly about sartre. So you're good. I focused on linking every point to the implications though because I had a mental block and couldn't remember who said what. So I made sure the explanation was coherent. In my part b I talked about kant and Holbach - we have not learned about kant and Holbach at our school. But it is part of the wjec eduqas spec, according to philosophy ninja lady whos videos I watched for revision 😭 am I totally screwed if I didn't talk about sirigu and Rogers?

Kant and Holbach alongside Sartre and a little bit of G . E Moore *

i don’t think so, i’ve never even heard of holbach or kant in terms of libertarianism so im sure they’ll see your wider knowledge - although i do hate philosophy ninja
i have no idea what to expect in terms of them needing sirigu and rogers. i feel like i should’nt have talked about them as much as i did but i like them and it was all i could think to say, my rogers stuff was definitely a bit wrong though

Oh philosophy ninja is awful. I put her in 2x speed to make it sound more interesting. I'm very much a video learner. Like I need to both see and listen to something to understand it. So instead of reading my multitude of messy notes I watched her videos and for some reason that stuff stuck. I'm hoping it doesn't matter if I didn't write about rogers/ sirigu. There's no set checklist in the mark scheme so I'm just hoping it's ok. Also I'm sure you got more than you think right about rogers. I couldn't remember if it was him or sartre that said we are Tabula Rasa, so I said something along the lines of some libertarian have said... But like I couldn't remember exactly what he said. So I didn't explicitly mention it. I think most people hated those questions so I'm hoping they're nice with the marking this year

agreed on philosophy ninja, i think eduqas resources in general are pretty poor and the knowledge organised don’t actually have all the info on them, so sometimes the videos are the way to go
as a class we were kind of fooled into thinking this was an easy subject by never being tested on the hard topics and being told what every test would cover until the alevel and i knew nothing lmao but fingers crossed we both still do okay and i manage to scrape an A from somewhere- as long as grade boundaries aren’t as high as last year that is

I completely agree with everything you've said. Our school also fooled us. I am manifesting good grades for us all.. I know that's not how that works but one can only hope.

Got an A* !

I don’t know if they’ve mixed my results with someone else because it’s a surprise even to me…

Hi, I'm in year 13 rn and will be sitting my RS papers in june 2025 (eduqas). I've started doing some Year 1 christianity past paper questions now and will do Y1 ethics and philosophy too. any tips on how to get through all the content before then? or just any tips you think would be helpful? thanks

i ended up with an A* after doubting id e get a B for the whole year. flashcards was the only thing i did. from the start of first year i made about 20 flashcards for a lesson. it turned into A LOT of cards but it really helped me. I usually only went over them 2 or 3 times. Once right after making them, then maybe later on in the week and then not really until before the exam.
Closer to the exams i planned out essays under the broad 30 mark questions they give you on the spec. For 20 markers, I would make 5 bullet points of headings for key info in the order i wanted to write them down in the exam.
