Nah dw about it, it's pretty simple! In a way the paragraphs are structured for you, with the 5 key principles being your point for a 20 marker?

Has anyone here sat a full RS paper before. Our school just only made us do one 20 marker and one 30 marker. If anyone has done a full one before, what are some of your tips you would give ?

Read all the questions on section A and section B thoroughly pick questions that you can gain most marks in spend 1 minute planning the exam unfortunately is a mark per minute so if on section b for example the 30 marker you feel like your running out of time 2x for and against points are fine and REMEMBER on section a if you pick 1a which is 20 marks you must do 1b you cannot pick and mix the questions as the examiner won’t Mark it it’s either 1a and 1b or 2a and 2b

I feel like it could be on zakat and the poor as they haven’t picked that as well as pre Islamic Arabia and maybe pluralism or ashura or self harm as an excessive religious devotion

How do you people structure the 30 markers? My teacher normally gets us to do 10 paragraphs - 5 fors, 5 againsts and a conclusion but I've found that it takes up so much of my time to the point it's unrealistic.

Anyone got any advice?

An introduction
3x for paragraphs
3x against
2x for and against is fine if you run out of time just make sure it’s detailed
Conclusion

my teacher gave us an ABCD structure
A- argument
B- back it up w evidence or explain point further
C- counter argument
D- decide (basically counter the counter and say why your argument is still valid despite the counter you gave)
do that 3 times with a short intro and conclusion !

your right that’s unrealistic considering the exam is a mark per minute and you have to spend time reading the questions choosing which ones your going to answer especially planning

Never seen any recommendation like that before! Our teacher suggests intro and conclusion with 3 main paragraphs. The paragraphs follow the structure of Argument, Because, Counter/criticism and Decide. Hope that's helpful and best of luck

Thank you for all the responses but damn, how long is this meant to be? Our teacher made us do very short, highly concise paragraphs but with this new structure - I'm not sure how concise or how extensive it should be.

Is there an example paragraph you have anywhere?
