To become an actor

Hello I’m Oscar. I’m year 9 I’ve come to really enjoy drama in school 2 drama teachers have told me I should have took drama (doesn’t mean to say I'm amazing) but I didn’t pick drama for GCSE and I wish I would of now. So my question is do I have to pick GCSE drama to get in the acting industry later in life

No you can still get in. You could also try doing an acting program over the summer.
Good luck.

No - just apply to a Drama School.
Example - Professional Acting BA (Hons) - Bristol Old Vic Theatre School

No! You definitely don't have to do Drama GCSE to be an actor. For now, I'd say look at joining a local theatre group, do some acting/singing/dancing classes outside of school and/or participate in as many shows as your heart desires! That way, you can get a real picture of whether or not the career is for you.

Equally, looking at getting into screen acting (Mark Jermin were the education provider I worked with online and in person) can be an excellent way of getting some paid work.
