To be honest with you end of the week is usually just a technical thing with each individual employers.
Normally if you have a interview today ( Thursday) and the employer has said that they will be in touch with you by the end of the week then technically speaking it could be tomorrow ( Friday) but some employers week starts on a Monday and finishes on a Sunday, others it's can be Saturday to Friday.

I would not worry too much if you don't hear from them by tomorrow ( Friday) as it doesn't mean you have not been successful as they might still have interviews to conduct and then they will make their final decision on who'll be offered jobs with them.

Good luck with this one.

Tracey Hi,

Oh awesome. That’s encouraging but I won’t get carried away with it. Best to keep that phone not on silent and besides me for the phone call or email.

Thank you very much for the good luck wishes :jumphug:

No worries my friend ☺️ ☺️ ☺️

Yeah no need to get carried away with things until you know if you got the job and then you can certainly get carried away with celebrations.

Hopefully you will get good news 🤞 🤞

Thank you once again.

I so hope so. I’m so nervous and have mixed emotions at the minute. Just hoping for a good sign.

No worries 🙂 🙂
I hope you get it.

Don't be nervous about it until you know the outcome and of course let all your emotions flow out of you if successful 🙏.

I’ve yet to hear from them @Emma:-). They are a business that doesn’t run during weekends.

Hey guys it’s coming to a week nearly (Thursday) and I’ve yet to hear back…In comparison to an everyday application they would then therefore at least state and give an automated response whether my application has progressed or not is this a positive sign/indication… especially whether I have it or not @Tracey_W and @Emma:-).

It’s been nearly 6 days should I ponder an email or wait for the week or give it till Friday

Hi 👋 👋 😊

Apologies for late reply 😔 due to work 😞

Firstly it depends on what the job is that you applied for, then when was the official closing date of the job advert and there's the issue of how many people actually applied for the job as this could delay a answer to those who are awaiting a reply back on the outcome of interviews.

They should really acknowledge either way if you are successful or not as most places do that and you'll get places who don't care about notify people unless they're successful which I don't like.

I would suggest perhaps contact the employer ( either directly to the place manager or contact there recruitment team) either phoning or if possible pop in to them and speak to manager and enquire about any update as you were supposed to get a response by end of last week okay.

Hey sorry my bad,

I applied for a technical support trainee role. Although I’m not really sure if a closing date was advertised on the job advert. Okay I’ll get in touch via email thank you 🙂 :jumphug:

Update: Hey guys I got a message from the line manager that did my telephone consultation interview and I made it to the next stage where I will have a second and final interview with the program manager. I asked the line manager about the potential questions to expect he said since the role is entry level they are looking for personality match, people skills and passion around technology. General tech questions. Any advice or tips on what these questions maybe I’m so nervous I got 5 days to prepare for the second interview 😬😭.

Well done for getting through to and stage of the interview process for the job you applied for.

I agree with what others said on your other thread you had made about this same job and you should perhaps follow there advice on what to do next okay.

By the way you shouldn't put up on any social media sites what sort of questions you are perhaps getting asked at your next interview with this employer.
