Durhum unconditional offer letter

Hey !
I hold an conditional offer letter from Durham University and I fulfilled all the requirements. I gave them my provisional degree certificate as I haven’t received my final degree certificate and also qualified the English proficiency test. Now I am asking them for my unconditional offer letter to proceed further steps but they are not giving me. I mean I asked them but it’s been a week. In fact I mailed them but not getting a good response. Do they deny the admission or anything or should I try in some other university?

yeah.....we might have to annoy them by sending non stop emails asdfghj also since you're also a postgrad I have to ask, please tell me I'm not the only one who is super annoyed with the fact that we have to wait months longer than the undergrads for our college allocation, I mean I'm an international student and I'm going to be living in the college so I would LOVE to know where I might be living! Also the fact that we only were able to pick 3 choices while they were able to rate all of them??? 😭

Even I talked to the Durham counselor they told me to wait. I am just worried are they going to cancel my admission.
In August maybe we will get to know which college they are allotting us. Even I am also an International student
Where are you from?

oooof I def get why you're nervous (because same), but I'm sure it will be fine! I highly doubt they wouldn't give us unconditional offer when we've met our conditions??? but I'm from iceland! what about you?

I am from India. Let’s connect
Hi both!

I'm an international student too and went through the same process as you guys. For me, it took a lot of emails to the admissions team and their regional officer to get my unconditional offer within 16 days. Some people received it before me as well. I understand that this is because there are lots of international students and the university needs to ensure all details are correct before processing these documents, including pre-CAS and CAS. This inevitably takes a while, but you could stay in touch with your regional officer and send emails regularly to seek updates.

You can find your regional representatives here: https://www.durham.ac.uk/study/international/regional-pages/
