Provisional application needs further checks from the DVLA
Hi all,
yesterday I applied for a provisional licence with DVLA, but i recieved an email stating that some checks need to be done and that I need to complete an application form and that will be submitted for validation checks.
Has anyone else had a similar situation and why? I put in my national insurance and passport information. I have a new british passport and I am a British citizen, so what would be the reason for these checks? Is it just a random check?

Yes, probably just that you were randomly selected for a check.
