What are the best books for A-level Physics in the market? I read the Nelson modular books, but they don't provide much detail on some topics.
So what books do u read?

Understanding Physics is a good book that I used last year. Think the author was Jim Breight...something! Sorry I can't be more specific, but do a search on amazon and hopefully you'll find something!

Physics Bath Science by Robert Hutchings is very good, for all A level physicists (especially OCR, as the author is the one of the OCR exam writers) and enables you to read around the subject easily as it contains a lot of extra material. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...=glance&s=books

If you're going to be doing physics at university (or you're into mathsy/physics) then 'University Physics' by Harris Benson is a great book, and shows you all the (beautiful!) maths behind it.

These books are quite expensive though, and I simply borrowed them, now and then, from my school, especially the first one (as I do OCR) and especially during revision.
